A: The average output power of the backaudio A61, A66 host machine, and A82 extension is 50W, so two CR amplifiers or speakers with 4-8 ohm impedance and 20W power are enough. The output power of each sound channel is 25W, so it is suggested the power of the speaker be above 15W, taking the line loss into consideration. If the lower power amplifier is used, it is suggested the volume not be too large or the machine may be damaged. Consider the human activity features when installing speakers to secure the Hi-Fi stereo experience. For example, install the speakers on both sides of the sofa in the sitting room; on both sides of the bed in the bed room; on both sides of the desk in the study; on both sides of the dining table in the dining room.
The distance of the speakers should be 1.5 times of the storey height to secure the good Hi-Fi Stereo experience. If it is a large room, it is suggested to have two 8 ohm speakers connected respectively with the left channel and right channel to guarantee the balanced sound and better Hi-Fi Stereo experience.

A: The smart music system consists of three parts: audio source (the host machine), control device and speaker.
1) The audio source (the host machine): it is usually installed behind the sound source, such as computers or DVD, at the same height as he TV socket or in the special machine room or equipment cabinet. 
2) Control device: the control panel should be at the same height as the lighting switches, usually beside the switches.
3) Speaker: the loudspeaker includes ceiling speaker, wall speaker, in-wall speaker and speaker embedded in artistic paintings. The ceiling speakers are usually installed on the ceiling symmetrically, with at least 1 meter in distance from each other; the on-wall speakers are usually installed 2-2.2 meters high, with at least 1 meter in distance from each other provided installed on the same wall. In-wall speakers can be installed either on the wall or on the ceiling. When installed on the wall, they are 1.5-1.8 meters high, with at least 1 meter in distance from each other and embedded matched bottom box necessary. When installed on the ceiling, they are installed symmetrically with at least 1 meter in distance from each other and embedded matched bottom box unnecessary. They are fixed by the rotatable pothook when installed on the ceiling.

A: Being part of home intelligence decoration, HBMS employs buried wiring for artistically decoration. So, design and wiring should be done before basic decoration. That means to run the background music wire under the floor or inside the wall according to the soundscape requirements of the customer. On-site installation and debugging should be done after basic decoration. Installation means to install the ceiling speaker or on-wall speaker onto the four or two corners of every room, and then to install the main console and sub-control console in every room.
It takes about three days to install HBMS in a two-bedroom house: first day, on-site design. Communicate with the customer about the designing scheme and care about the special requirements of the customer. Second day, wire the house before basic decoration. It shall take about a whole day. The third day shall have a long distance of time with the second. It’s about a whole day’s on-site installation and debugging in the house after the basic decoration.

A: You can have music-wake-up function if the host machine has a build-in timer module. This humanized function is indispensable for backaudio, the leading background music product in this industry.

A: Not necessarily. The quiescent dissipation of backaudio central smart host machine is less than one watt and conforms to the energy-saving standards. If the host machine is powered off, you have to go to the living room to turn it on when you want music in the bedroom, which is very inconvenient. Thus, backaudio suggests you not to power off the central smart host machine.
Of course, you are suggested to power it off if you won’t use the system for a long time or when it’s thundering.

A: No. When the host machine is standby and all room’s background music is switched off, you can simply turn on the switch in one room, and then the system shall switch on audio equipment automatically.

A: There is no need to do that. When all the background music in all rooms switch off, host machine will recognizes the extension set stops working, and then it shall send switching-off direction to off board DVD, build-in MP3. After that, the host machine shall become standby mode automatically.

A: On the following occasions, backaudio shall not provide free maintenance or repair services:
1) Damages caused by human factors or damages caused by being used in abnormal working environment or environment not as described in the instruction, or using the product without abiding by the instruction.
2) Without the consent of backaudio, the user disassembles, re-fixes or refits the products.
3) Damages due to poor transportation after the purchase.
4) Damages due to other force majeure such as flood, thunderstrick, earthquake and abnormal voltage.
5) Normal wear and tear, normal fracture and dyeing.
6) Products not belonging to backaudio, such as fake products.
7) Without valid purchase voucher or After-Sales Service and Maintenance Guide.
8) Product's bar code or serial number is absent, incomplete or damaged.
9) The machine is damaged by petrol or water or burned down due to improper operations. 

A: Backaudio is customer-oriented, and we offer our customers following after-sales services and the related regulations are stated as follows:
1) The host machines of various series are guaranteed for 2 years while the hosts of A81, A82 are guaranteed for 1 year. Control panels, infrared controls, speakers and other accessories are guaranteed for 1 year.
During the warranty period, you can enjoy the free maintenance services in regard to any problem related to the machine; if the problem can’t be fixed through maintenance, backaudio offers to give a replacement set for free.
 
2) During the first year since the purchase date, backaudio covers the logistics fee for returning the products to factory repair. backaudio shall not be obliged to bear any costs related to the packing expenses or other fees (so it is suggested that you keep the outer packing of the product to avoid the large amount of packing expenses incurred during the maintenance).
   After one year since the purchase date, all the logistic fees incurred during            the maintenance should be covered by you. 
3) As for the products expired for the warranty period, backaudio shall charge       properly the maintenance fees.
4) Backaudio offers the replacement services. Please send the maintenance /repair –needed products back to backaudio to get the maintenance or repair services.
5) If the After-sales Service and Maintenance Guide and valid purchase vouchers are provided, the warranty period starts from the registered date of the purchase; or the warranty period starts from the date when the products rolled off the production line.
